Hi
Fragments of Suri's Voice
This page is an extension of my artist publication Soundis Not Always Language.
It contains four sound fragments collected and composed between 2024–2025,
each reflecting how I listen, mishear, and remember sound.
Headphones are recommended for a more personal listening experience.
Recorded during a quiet walk home in East London.
Raindrops on fabric, distant cars, and my breathing merge into one rhythm.
That day my hearing aid malfunctioned, I sat in the bustling café, catching waves of sound that built and faded.
This is a story about listening through chaos, finding rhythm amid the fragments.
The distance from home to the station is very short.
Every step of footsteps and the hum of machinery marks the transition between private and public sounds.
Recorded at dusk in a small community garden.
Amidst birds, wind, and stillness, I tried to hear the very breath of the space itself.
